2. Go to this website: The Advantages of the North and South

A. Click on the "Advantages" button at the top of the page

 - Advantage: when something that you have that is better or stronger than what somebody else has

B. On a piece of paper, answer the following questions. When complete pass into the substitute teacher.

1. What advantages did the Union have before the Civil War started? Write 1-2 sentences explaining each advantage the Union had before the war started.

2. What advantages did the Confederacy have before the Civil War started? Write 1-2 sentences explaining each advantage of the Confederacy had before the war started.

3. Civil War Article 

A. Read the article that was passed out in class and answer the questions as you read. When complete pass the complete questions into the substitute teacher.

Both assignments need to be completed and passed in by the end of class!
